Welcome to LevantGo Delivery ("the Platform", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use our apps and website (the Customer app, the LevantGo Vendor app, and the Driver app), and how we use and protect it. By using the Platform, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information you provide:

  • Name, phone number, email address, and password.
  • Delivery addresses and related details.
  • Store or restaurant details (name, logo, products, prices, photos) for vendor accounts.
  • Registration details and documents required from drivers (such as profile photo, vehicle details, and identity documents).
  • Order content, ratings, messages, and support requests.

B. Information collected automatically:

  • Location: to determine your delivery address, show nearby stores, and track orders. For drivers, the Driver app collects location while delivering orders, which may continue while the app is running in the background, so that customers can track their orders.
  • Device information: device type, operating system, device identifier, app version, and error logs.
  • Usage data: how you interact with the app.

C. Permissions the app may request:

  • Location: as described above.
  • Camera and photo gallery: to upload profile pictures, product and store photos, and driver documents.
  • Microphone: to send voice messages or use audio features in the app.
  • Notifications: to send order alerts, delivery status updates, and offers.

You can manage or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings. Doing so may affect some features.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Receive, process, deliver, and track orders.
  • Enable communication between customers, stores, and drivers.
  • Process payments.
  • Send notifications about orders, updates, and offers.
  • Improve our services and develop the Platform.
  • Prevent fraud and protect the security of the Platform.
  • Comply with legal requirements.

3. Payments

We offer cash on delivery and online payment. Online payments are processed by external payment providers, and we do not store your full card details on our servers. Your data with the payment provider is subject to that provider's privacy policy.

4. Sharing Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it only in these cases:

  • With the store or restaurant: name, address, phone number, and order details, to prepare your order.
  • With the driver: name, address, location, and phone number, to deliver your order.
  • With service providers: such as notification, analytics, hosting, and payment services, who act on our behalf and are obligated to protect data.
  • When required by law: if an official authority requests it in accordance with the law.

5. Third-Party Services

The Platform uses third-party services, including Firebase (by Google) for notifications, analytics, and backend services, as well as map and location services and payment providers. 6. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your data while your account is active, or as long as needed to provide the service and comply with the law. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time through the app (where available) or by contacting us at the email below. We will process your request within a reasonable time, though we may retain some data where the law requires it.

7. Information Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to your data, correct or delete it, withdraw your consent to permissions, and unsubscribe from promotional notifications by contacting us.

9. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with the update date. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept them.
